  • 1 tbsp Vegetable oil or butter for cooking
  • 1/2 tbsp Salt
  • 1 unit Fillings and side dishes of your choice (cheese, meat, chicken, avocado, etc.)
  • 1 tbsp Butter for mixing

  • Add one egg, butter, sugar and salt to the corn in the blender.
  • Blend the ingredients until smooth and homogeneous. The consistency should be slightly runny, similar to a thick milkshake.
  • Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat and add a little vegetable oil or butter to grease the pan.
  • Pour about 1/4 cup of the corn mixture into the hot skillet. Using a spatula, spread the mixture to form a round, flat arepa.
