This recipe is relatively easy to prepare and is the perfect choice for those who want to take advantage of nutrition and flavor without sacrificing convenience. The arepa domino is the combination and contrast of flavors and colors: beans and white cheese. It is very popular in Venezuelan areperas and outside of them. You can serve it for breakfast or dinner.
Place the 2 cups of water and the salt in a bowl of sufficient capacity. Stir to dissolve the salt. Slowly add the flour while stirring to avoid lumps in the dough.
Now knead with your hands for several minutes, until you get a smooth and homogeneous dough that does not stick. Divide the dough into 4 portions with which we make balls.Shape each arepa, flattening it with your hands with circular movements.
Cook for about 8 minutes on each side in a greased pan or frying pan until toasted.
To fill, open the arepa about 3/4 of the way, leaving the bottom closed so that the filling does not leak out. Add some butter and then add a portion of beans.
Now add enough grated white cheese to cover the rest.
Close the arepa as far as possible and as far as the filling allows and serve. It can be served with milk cream.
