1unitplantain for each patacon
2tbspCarne mechada to taste
50grgrated white cheese
1/2tbspketchup
1/2tbspmayonnaise
1unitlettuce ration
Instructions
First we select, wash and peel the plantains we are going to use, normally one plantain per patacon. Then we cut them in half.
In a frying pan place enough oil and place over high heat. We proceed to fry the plantains for the first time until golden brown.
We remove the plantains and now we are going to mash or crush them with the help of a board. We can place plastic wrap on the board so that the patacones do not stick.
Remove carefully so as not to break the patacon.
Fry again until golden brown on both sides.
Drain the excess oil. Now we begin to prepare the presentation by placing a patacon wheel on the plate where we are going to serve and place a lettuce leaf.
Continue adding the shredded meat, grated cheese and sauces to taste.
Cover with the other potato wheel and it is ready to eat.
