Parsley and Garlic Sauce without Mayonnaise Recipe

It is the perfect sauce for almost anything and I use it for quiches, steaks and fish. If a recipe calls for a cream-based sauce, I substitute it for this one and it looks great.
For this recipe you will need fresh garlic and parsley, no substitutes are allowed.
There is nothing better than a homemade garlic and parsley sauce over boiled potatoes. It's perfect for use as a dip or as an accompaniment to the main dish. Garlic and parsley sauce goes great with steaks, fish, chicken and chips - you'll love it if you're a garlic lover!

Ingredients

  • 1 unit Large potato
  • 5 unit Garlic cloves
  • 100 gr Fresh parsley
  • 100 ml Milk
  • 1 Pizca Salt

Instructions

  • The first thing to do is to peel the potato and garlic cloves. Then chop the potato into small pieces.
  • Place the potato and two cloves of garlic in a pot and cover with enough water. Add a pinch of salt and boil for about 10 minutes or until soft. Let stand to cool.
  • Now place the potato in a bowl to mix with the other ingredients. If there is a lot of water left, remove it so that the mixture does not become watery. Add the parsley and the remaining garlic.
  • Add the milk to the previous mixture.
  • Now proceed to blend for several minutes until the mixture is homogeneous, if it is too thick we can add more milk.
  • Serve in a suitable container and ready to share.
