Original Venezuelan Guasacaca Recipe
Ingredients
- 50 gr Cilantro
- 30 gr Perejil
- 4 unit Ajos
- 4 unit Sprigs of chives
- 1 unit Medium onion
- 1/2 unit Paprika of any color
- 1 unit Lemon juice
- 2 tbsp Vinegar
- 2 tbsp Edible oil
- 1 cup water
- 1 unit Salt to taste
- 1 unit Pepper to taste
Instructions
- The first thing to do is to chop all the ingredients, starting with the cilantro and parsley. Although we are going to use a food processor or a blender, chopping it before putting it inside speeds up the process and prevents the processor from jamming. We must also remove the stems.

- Add to the processor all the ingredients we have, without leaving any of them out. Lastly, always add the water.

- Start processing at low speed and increase the speed so that everything is well crushed and mixed.

- We can stop the processing, turn off the appliance and stir the mixture to help it become homogeneous.

- Process for several minutes until this consistency is achieved.
